The Grove consistently has amazing food & drinks! It’s one of my favorite casual breakfast spots tucked away in the Santa Cruz Mountains just outside of town. They also do fun themed dinners every so often! I recently went to their plant based 5 course Shroomami themed dinner and every dish was incredible and it was super affordable for this type of service. I can’t not recommend this place more for locals & visitors from out of town!

The breakfast sandwich has a homemade biscuit and your choice of bacon, sausage or avocado. I had mine with a bowl of soul (super tasty too). There's a patio in the back, seating inside and seating in front. I definitely plan to return for more .

We came as a big party... One girl was exceptionally amazing here. Wish I caught her name (short hair and working in the kitchen)... Somehow the child's avocados toast was not ordered and they were closing and everyone else got their food and she made sure to bring her food out regardless of if it was on them or us that it wasn't ordered.. then for that hassle they gave us a couple freebie cookies to make our day a little less stressful. The food was made with deliberate care... My potato leak soup was exquisite and so was my plate of breakfast with poached eggs, bacon, toast made in house. I'm normally super picky about breakfast because I feel like i can just make it myself for a tenth of the price, but here I just felt so happy to eat their organic, yummy fresh food. Also, they served our hot coffee and hot matcha in cutesy mugs which I really appreciated
